Mitsubishi Evo X Out Now

Tokyo, October 1, 2007 — Mitsubishi Motors Corporation announces today that it will launch the Lancer Evolution X high-performance 4WD sedan, newest of the company's legendary vehicles, on October 1 at dealerships throughout Japan. Featuring a new platform, engine, and exterior and interior designs, the totally redesigned 2.0-liter model will carry a tax-inclusive price tag ranging from 2,997,750 to 3,750,600. Models fitted with the Twin Clutch SST transmission are due to be launched towards the end of November.

Exterior
The exterior is crafted with sophisticated and aggressive styling to give the low-and-wide squat stance body an aerodynamically clean profile that flows liquidly from the inverted-slant nose over the roof to the tail end, using wind-tunnel proven aero parts.
-Molded around the inverted-slant nose and trapezoidal grille, the aggressive and powerful front fascia features larger air intake openings and new ducting for superior engine cooling and aerodynamics and leaves no doubt as to Lancer Evolution X's high performance.
-The engine hood air outlet and fender vents effectively exhaust heat from the engine compartment. Together with the engine hood air scoop that supplies cooling air to the turbocharger these elements give vivid accent to Evolution X's exterior looks.
-The oversize rear spoiler — standard on the GSR — uses a twisted-section wing panel with different attack angles at its ends and in the center portion to match the airflow over the body surface.
-A large undercover rectifies underbody airflow for better aerodynamics and also improves drivetrain cooling. The underside of the rear bumper employs a diffuser design that helps to exhaust the underbody airflow more effectively and also adds a distinguishing touch to the rear view.
-The Stylish Exterior Package option uses a chrome finish for the front grille lattice and beltline molding, body color-keyed fender vents and adds fog lamps to give the exterior a touch of uptown elegance.
-The GSR trim level is offered in a lineup of five body colors designed to strongly project a functionally aesthetic image and including a vividly sporty Red Metallic and a new classy and deep-hue Phantom Black Pearl. RS is offered in two body colors, including White Solid which is exclusive to this trim level.

Powertrain
Engine
-Lancer Evolution X is powered by a new turbocharged engine that adds a high-performance turbocharger to the 4B11-type 2.0-liter 4-cylinder 16-valve DOHC MIVEC unit used in the Galant Fortis. Developing more power over the full rev range, this engine generates more torque at 422 Nm (43.0 kg-m)/3500 rpm and has better response than its 4G63 predecessor. The new engine is also lighter and returns better environmental performance.
-The application of continuously variable valve timing technology (MIVEC) to both intake and exhaust camshafts realizes valve timing optimally matched to engine speed and load to stabilize combustion characteristics and allow the engine to develop more power over the full rev range. It also improves emissions performance. Lancer Evolution X earns a 3-star rating for emissions that are 50% under the Japanese 2005 Emissions Standards levels.
-The new engine, excluding auxiliary equipment, is 12 kg lighter than the 4G63 thanks to the use of a die-cast aluminum cylinder block, head cover and chain case.
-Using a titanium-aluminum alloy turbine wheel and aluminum alloy compressor wheel, the turbocharger features a shape-optimized compressor wheel that improves boost response and increases low-end and mid-range torque.
-The adoption of a rearward facing exhaust manifold layout has, as well as improving exhaust efficiency, allowed the engine to be mounted lower, lowering the center of gravity. Other innovations have reduced intake/exhaust system losses and valvetrain friction, contributing to improved engine performance.

Yesterday I bought my camera!! I chose a Nikon D40x for my DSLR camera. The main reason why I chose this camera is because its is at a very reasonable price, the functions a great. Winner of Round 7 GT500 & GT300

Super GT had recently completed their round 7 in Motegi. The Winner for the Round 7 GT 500 is the TAKATA Dome with their Acura NSX, followed by MOTUL AUTECH Z with their Nissan 350Z and in third placing Forum Engineering SC430 with their Soarer. Takata is slowly climbing up the ladder and so is Yunker Porsche for the GT 300. Winner for the GT 300 is Yunker Porsche, Team Taisan, followed by WILLCOM ADVAN VEMAC408R in the second place and in third placing, ARTA Garaiya. Mazda Atenza

The six speed beauty, the Atenza from Mazda. This car was launched 2 years ago. Think its old news? Think again, I hope that Mazda will remake this model and make it a competitor to Honda Civic Type R. This Atenza was launched in 2005, Japan. The Atenza comes in a 6 speed manual transmission with turbo engine displacement of 2260cc and direct fuel injection fuel feeder. Full time 4WD for the gearing and disk brakes for both front as well as the rear wheel. This car cost 3,024,000¥ in Japan. I really hope that Mazda will reconsider giving this car a new touch. A wise step with the turbo engine.

By end of this year, I will be building my Race Queen photo gallery here on this blog. Todays selection of Queens are the Triple A ladies. The total number of Race Queens from Triple a/ JLOC is 8 ladies. They are Miwako Takasugi, Mari Sano, Eri Yoshimoto, Natsumi Imaizumi, Seri, Sachi Yamaguchi, Eri Kawaguchi and Rie Yoshii. The four Race Queens that came to Malaysia for the Super GT round 4 is Miwako Takasugi, Mari Sano, Eri Yoshimoto, and Natsumi Imaizumi. The Legend Lives On

This is a car which I really wish to own. This is the Legend from Honda, a four door sedan. This new model of the Honda Legend was released end of last year, around early November. Honda have put a beast into this car. A water cooling, SOHC 24 Valve, V6 engine with the displacement of 3471cc. Just imagine this car is a turbocharged engine, but unfortunately the Legend is not a turbocharged car. The fuel capacity of this Legend is 74litres, 5 speed transmission and Full time 4WD. Honda made this Legend look very sporty compared to the previous model. They also added halogen lights for this Legend. Honda improved on the interior and the overall exterior. This sedan cost only ¥5,250,000 in Japan, excluding tax and delivery charges. Here are some pictures of the Honda Legend.

Here is Tomomi Tanno. She is the Official GT Babe for the Super GT round 4 in Malaysia. She was along side Yurika carrying the official Autobacs Flag during the start of the race. I managed to get quite a lot of pictures of Tomomi and Yurika during the Super GT race in Sepang. Here are also some pictures of Tomomi's fashion modeling site. Subaru Legacy

Here is the Legacy from Subaru. This is a five door touring wagon. Subaru launched this car on May 2007 in Japan. This wagon is not supercharged, but it has a horizontal opposition 6 cylinder DOHC 24 valve engine with the total cubic displacement of 2999cc. The fuel capacity of this wagon is 64 litres. Subaru has equip this car with strut type independent suspension for the front and multi link type suspension for the rear. Both the front and rear braking systems are ventilated disk brakes. The transmission type for this wagon is a 5 speed automatic transmission and full time 4WD. This wagon is powerful, but economic on fuel because of the EGI (electronically controlled gasoline injection device: Multipoint injection). Subaru has included many sophisticated electronics in this wagon. For example, the GPS and the media center. Legacy is selling for ¥3,234,000 in Japan. Here are some pictures of the Legacy.

Midori Yamazaki is from the ZENT team in 2006 and in 2007. Here are the few pictures of Midori in her bridal gown. According to Midori, she likes the green gown because it captures peoples attention, as in striking and attractive. The Tiara with the green gown and white gown looks very good on her too.

Wedding Photography

Hello everyone!! Today's post will be side track a little due to my photographer friends request. On 25.08.2007 was my cousins wedding. I managed to get a DSLR camera and did coverage for the wedding. The wedding was wonderful. Here are some pictures, look out for the baby model in pink cheongsam. (^^). Queen Alphard, Toyota

This is the Alphard from Toyota. I'd rather refer to the Alphard as the mobile hotel. This MPV is packed with sophisticated gadgets and luxurious interior. This is the latest upgraded model from Toyota. Toyota launched this baby in Japan on June 2007. Toyota had added new cool looking and powerful headlights and rear lights also. New rims added and a really useful function for the handicapped, removable electronic powered seat. This MPV have been give a V6 DOHC engine with the displacement of 2994cc, 5 speed auto transmission, full 4WD and this MPV has an amazing light weight of 1960kg. The Alphard is selling for ¥3,675,000, approximately RM110,100.00. This car has the look of "class" that beats many of its competitors in the current market. This is another great MPV from Toyota. Winner for GT 500 round 6

Round 6 winner for the GT 500 is Houzan's. This is the team with the most Race Queens. A total of 12 Race Queens. Their team machines are the Lexus SC430 ( Lexus Soarer) and the Nissan 350z (Nissan Fairlady). For the GT500, the Lexus SC430 came out in the first. Their overall performance in all the races are very good. Here are some pictures of their winning car, the Lexus SC430 and the Houzan's Cosmos Circuit Ladies.

Super GT round 6 has just ended. The main attraction at the Super GT as usual, the Race Queens. Here are some pictures of the Super GT Race Queens at the round 6, Pokka. There are many claims that the Race Queens are much more popular then the drivers and they are truly the main subject for the photographers. The one thing that I really admire about them is, when a photographer wants to take their picture, the Race Queens will just pose for the camera. Believe it or not, their poses are very spontaneous but looks very natural. And that's what they are best at. So, here are the Race Queens from Super GT round 6.

Super GT Round 4 DVD

Super GT round 4 2007 Series is out now. Round 4 was in Sepang, Malaysia. The race was quite disappointing for TAKATA because his machine suffered a drive train problem before he could even finish the first lap of the race. The winner for the round 4 in Malaysia is WOODONE ADVAN Clarion Z for GT 500 and apr MR-S for the GT 300. The DVD is selling for ￥2,940, RM 88.90 excluding tax and shipping cost. Tough competition in Super GT Round 6

Yesterday was the round 6 for Super GT in Japan, Pokka round. The drivers had to cover a total track range of 1000km for the whole race. The weather for that day was beautiful accept for a few technical problems. Calsonic caught fire in the pit during refueling and was forced to leave the race. ZENT Cerumo was forced to run on flat tires for half a lap before returning to the pit to get his tires done. In lap 51, Eclipse tire burst and causing damage to the rear fender and the door panel, thus forcing him to leave the race. TAKATA had a minor crash but managed to finish the race. RE AMEMIYA ADVAN RX-7 had a very funny experience. Rain got into his engine compartment and caused damage to the components, but managed to solve the problem which caused a great time loss. The overall results were amazing. Houzan's came out first for the GT 500 and Privée KENZO first in GT 300. In many of the races, Houzan's maintained their race performance and is overall doing very well.

Proton's Baby

Here are some pictures of the newly launched Proton Persona by Proton. I managed to get a feel of the Proton Persona. Overall performance is not bad, but seriously lacks in power. If you have tall people and if you are one, you will have some minor problems with the car. The passenger cabin is a bit small. Where else the trunk space is so big. I am just wondering, why not they make the trunks slightly smaller and give the passengers more space. I found a few weak points in on the car, as in eazy to spoil parts. One of them is the door, the rubber on the edges of the door in the middle of the car frame will eazyly peel off if not well taken care of. Royal masterpiece from Toyota. Toyota launched their new and improved model of their Majesta last year in July 2006. This is one beautiful masterpiece that we will seldom or will not have in Malaysia. So I decided to put post this car here on my blog. The Majesta is fited with a V8 DOHC engine with the displacement of 4292cc and 6 speed auto transmission. Toyota has also included double wishbone air type spring for the front and multi link type air spring for the back with the all time 4WD. All this elements makes the car very smooth, even on rough and bumpy roads. This car is also packed with a very high quality entertainment sound system, including separate amplifiers, DVD player and powerful speakers. This royal beauty cost only 6,500,000 Yen in Japan.

One of the Race Queens from ZENT is, Chie Yamaguchi. Here are some brief information on Chie Yamaguchi. Chie is from ZENT Sweeties. She is born on 02/12/1985. She came to Malaysia for the Super GT round 4 in Sepang. In this year she has been the K-1 World GP round Girl, PANASONIC Oxy ride Race Queen, ZENT Sweeties for the Super GT 2007, BRIDGESTONE BATTLAX LADY and Subaru Photogenic. She is one of the many Race Queens that I admire. Her hobby is to watch motor sports, yoga and listening to music. Here are some fashion pictures of her. She looks great in many of the pictures and her dressing is very fashionable. I really hope to meet her again next year for photography.

The Beast Inside

This article is catered specially for companies. Early this year, Toyota launched their new HIACE van. Toyota not only changed their design on this HIACE, but they also changed the engine and the amazing sound system. The previous models of the HIACE are not as powerful as the new ones. The old HIACE only has a 2.4litre petrol engine and a very basic sound system. Toyota decided to move a step ahead and came out with their latest HIACE. Their new HIACE is equip with a beastly 2.5Litre Turbocharged Diesel engine. The fuel supply system used in this HIACE is the Direct Injection Common Rail. Toyota also changed their sound system, they decided to put a more powerful composite speakers and a compact disc player to pump up the excitement during long rides. This beast is best at climbing hills like Genting and pumping out an estimated 250hp. I had the chance to test out this beast, and I seriously think its so far the most powerful in the market compared to the URVAN I tested from Nissan which has a 3.0litre engine. We took it for a drive and hit the highways up to the limit of the speed meter, 160km/h. Driving up the hills are also very impressive. I really recommend this van to companies doing delivery or companies which require a lot transportation to do business. Diesel also saves transportation cost. The price of this van is RM 101,000.

Proton Persona launched

Yesterday, 15.08.2007. Proton Malaysia had just launched their latest car. The Proton Persona. The Proton Persona is actually an upgrade from the hatchback Proton GEN 2. The design is exactly the same. Only the Persona is in sedan shape. In overseas, the Persona is actually our Proton Wira. They should change the name. Making the Persona word sound cheap. The Proton Persona's design is not bad. In my opinion, the rear of the car is a bit to high for comfort. Like sticking a butt up to someone's face from the back. The car is also a bit under powered. All the manual transmission models achieve 100km/h at 12 seconds. Where else, all the auto transmission models are worst, 14 seconds. I am still wondering, why Proton is scared to put 2.0 Litre into their cars, except for the Proton Perdana V6. The Proton Persona is only equip with a 1.6 Litre Campro engine. Braking system for the Highline is disc for front and rear. Others gets the front disc and rear drum. Booking fee is RM 500, transferable but not refundable because Proton has not much money. But seriously, don't expect much from Proton. If you want a reliable car, get imported cars. Trust me. Imported cars saves lives.

Hello everyone!! Here is Sakura Mizutani from Team Leyjun Dunlop. I don't think she came to Malaysia this year. She was previously from A&S Racing in 2006. She was born in 1983/11/17 in Hyogo Perfecture, Japan. She came out with a few DVD's which is selling in Amazon Japan. Here are some pictures of Sakura from her fashion website.
